Terminal Crimping

Services

Crimping is to make a connection between the cable and the terminal in such a way that there is no gas and air permeability by squeezing and deforming the open or closed terminal foot on the cable in the form of 'cold welding', with sufficient mechanical pressure. This connection is an interface with conductivity equivalent to electrical efficiency of a cable of equal length and mechanical strength such that the cable cannot be removed from the terminal. Electrical efficiency and mechanical power work inversely. While high crimp power application increases electrical efficiency, it decreases mechanical strength. crimping should be done with suitable and sufficient tools. The terminals are made for certain cable sizes and spacings, and small cables that do not fit these sizes have little pressure, and large cables have a lot of pressure.
